Killzone 2 was the biggest for me and I don't know why it isn't on the list. I purchased my PS3 for KZ2 and it was so broken after I beat it, I traded in at Gamestop(AFTER A WEEK). I also wasted my money on Infamous. I guess the only way to really tell what was a let down/disappoint in 2009, is by the sales in accordance to the supposed calibur of the AAA, WHEN IT COMES TO HYPE, BUDGET, AND PROJECTED SUCCESS.
I can't believe people still try to paint them as being on par with eachother. I guess the people that don't know any better think PSN is on par or closing in.

Sony will not overcome Halo Reach and Natal. 360 will basically relaunch as a different console next year, a console the world has not seen yet.
Most those 360 titles are confirmed for the first half of the year by MSFT.

I don't really see hype. I only see uncontrollable excitement, anticipation and support from developers not to mention the onslaught of attacks from SDF.
Developers saying they will support Natal and then later on announcing they have games in development for Natal isn't what I would call hype. So what if Natal was covered by top media around the world(CNN, Fox, BBC, MSNBC etc)
The only people hyping Natal are SDF tracking Natal news to debunk it or downplay it.
I don't think they're taking the lead, Sony was lucky there was a down period for MSFT.
I disagree because PS2 was just a console that sold a lot. PS2 did not define the decade with it's hardware, software, system software, Online. PS2's offerings have not shaped gaming's future. PS2 does not have the competition following suit.

PSN is a waste land with content, with no real support. PSN doesn't offer half the features XBL does. It has piss poor social structuring compared to XBL. Where is PSN's real social interface? Home maybe? lol
